Grace Cheung, Communications Program Manager
Grace Cheung is the Communications Program Manager at the
Women’s Commission for Refugee Women and Children. She writes, edits
and designs publications and presentations, maintains the website and organizes
the annual Voices of Courage Awards luncheon and other events. Prior to joining
the Women’s Commission, Grace was a features sub-editor and news page
designer for the International Herald Tribune-ThaiDay, an English-language
daily in Bangkok. At the Independent Press Association in New York, she edited
Voices That Must Be Heard, a weekly publication that translates the
best of the ethnic press. She has also interned at The Village Voice,
the Museum of Chinese in the Americas and the Chinatown Health Clinic. Grace
has a B.A. in Literatures and Cultures in English from Brown University and
studied abroad in Vietnam. She lives in Queens, New York.
