Brooke Lauten

Brooke Lauten is a Program Manager at the Watchlist on Children and Armed Conflict, where she is responsible for all aspects of the Watchlist’s work with local partners in countries affected by conflict. To date Brooke has supported partnerships with organizations in Colombia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Nepal, engaging in a range of projects including projects that focus on the active participation of young people themselves.

Prior to joining the Watchlist, Brooke worked with the Children’s Health Fund in New Orleans, and the U.N.'s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) Early Warning Unit in New York. She worked with the International Save the Children Alliance on their protection programming in Aceh, Indonesia, and on CARE International’s Child Survival project in the Koinadugu District of Sierra Leone. Brooke holds a Master’s of Public Health Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and a Master’s of International Affairs from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs. Brooke lives in Manhattan, New York.
